On Saturday 11 November, the SV Events Team was on site at the final Nuclear event of 2017 and let us tell you, it did not disappoint. First up at Fallout were the Cup Challengers - those who wanted to try to qualify for next year's World Championships had the chance to get out onto the course first and prove they have what it takes to run with the best in the business. First the men went off and then the women. The winners were rewarded with medals and champagne at 12:30pm in the event village! After 9am the waves didn’t stop. Wave after wave entered out onto the course, with each round getting muddier and more slippery. Nevertheless, the Nukes kept pushing on and grinding through the freezing lakes and tough obstacles. While the sun made a late appearance in the day, the winter hours caused for a short day at Fallout with the event village closing up around 5pm.
It was a fantastic final event of the year and we cannot wait to be part of the 2018 events!
