Congratulations to Orion Harrier, Louise Juby, who ran an impressive PB at Sunday's Frankfurt Marathon in 3hrs 11 mins! She thoroughly deserved this after having a difficult experience at the London Marathon in 2017 where she collapsed only a few hundred metres before the finish line and was kindly helped by marshals, still managing to finish the race in an impressive time of 3 hours 19 minutes!
Louise is an amazing and dedicated runner and is highly regarded in Orion Harriers AC and quite rightly so! She trains hard, is consistent with her runs and after battling some long term foot and hamstring issues, her running has really improved this year.
Louise sees the SV team for regular maintenance sessions for her legs and back for a combination of soft tissue release, dry needling and exercises.
There's already new dates in the diary: Manchester Marathon on 7 April 2019, then three weeks later another shot at the London Marathon on 28 April 2019.
